Lori (Snyder) Arner completed the B.S. in Music Education at the Robert E. Cook Honors College of Indiana University of Pennsylvania, the M.M.E. at Westminster Choir College of Rider University, and the Ph.D. in Music Education at Temple University.

​

She holds certificates in Orff Schulwerk (Post Level III), Kodaly (Level III), Dalcroze (Basic), and World Music Drumming (Level I) and has training in Music Learning Theory and experience with the Suzuki method as a parent.

 

Her areas of interest in research include movement, teacher identity, and embodiment. Her professional affiliations are with NAfME, AOSA, ACDA, and OAKE 

​

Since 2006, she has been the general/vocal music teacher at Newtown Elementary School of Council Rock School District. She resides with her family in Richboro, PA.
